Current Openings at Valde Systems Inc.
MUST HAVE direct experience writing image-processing algorithms, and
be familiar with edge detectors, histograms, and other common techniques.
Also desirable is experience with writing code for high performance
Digital Signal Processors.
Duties include assisting software development efforts for Valde Systems
products. Candidate must be a team player, with additional skills
in using real-time emulators and packet based protocols such as TCP/IP
for ethernet, and DCAM V1.30 for IEEE-1394 firewire.
This position is part engineer, part sales. Duties include interfacing
with customers to assist them with any installation issues or questions
they have about Valde Systems products. Other responsibilities include
supporting sales by answering questions regarding the operation,
interfacing, and implementation, and possibly traveling to customers
site when required. Also provide feedback to product development
about possible product improvements, and general customer comments.
The successful candidate should have experience in implementing
factory automation and inspection systems, with specific experience
with machine vision, including an understanding of all aspects of
a reliable system, including optics, resolution, and lighting. Must
be able to wear many hats, and help out where needed.
