President and CEO, Founder
Mr. Linder has worked in the electronics industry for over 17 years
at a variety of companies. He has an excellent reputation throughout
the industry and brings tremendous strength and experience to Valde
Systems. He is particularly strong in the areas of product development
and engineering, and at Lucent Technologies he worked on all phases
of the company's cutting-edge high-value equipment development.
Mr. Linder gained his experience with high-speed DSPs at previous
companies. He is knowledgeable about all aspects of electronic product
development, having literally worked his way up through the industry-starting
at the bottom doing assembly work, moving on to technician, to engineer,
and finally, to system architect. Along the way, He has gained extensive
experience in electronic product development and in new-product
development and management. He has an understanding of the image
processing industry, and what it takes to develop a useful, and
therefore successful, product.
Mr. Linder has been involved in high tech electronics since 1987.
He graduated from Keene State College, where he studied Electronics
Engineering, computer science, and business management.
Art is a seasoned CEO with 8 successful start-ups and senior
management experience in Schlumberger, Teradyne, TI and Lex. Has
completed 34 M&A transactions and in 2001-2002 raised $19.5
million for a start-up he founded. Art Speaks five languages, has
an MBA from Harvard, BSEE from Syracuse, and is a Director for Helix
Corp.(NASDAQ: HELX). He works with Emerson Hospital, and is a member
of the IEEE.
